LIMIN SOUTHBANK
Caribbean Restaurant, Bar & Event Space in South Bank
Voted the UK’s Best Caribbean Restaurant at the UK Caribbean Food and Drink Awards in 2024 and People’s Choice Restaurant of the Year at the Be Inclusive Hospitality Awards 2025.
LIMIN is a Caribbean food and drink experience created by Trinidadian-born Chef Sham Mahabir, bringing a unique fusion of exciting, fresh flavours you’ve never experienced before slap bang in the middle of London, just off the Thames.
Sham grew up in Trinidad & Tobago, where the food is a melting pot of Indian, African, Chinese and Middle Eastern influences, and he brings the signature Trini feel good atmosphere to London’s South Bank.
LIMIN, pronounced “lime-in”, is Trinidadian for having fun with good food, drink, music and company.
LIMIN is the UK home of Doubles - a dangerous addictive beloved street food in Trinidad. Thin, hand-stretched flatbread with spiced chickpeas, served with tangy tamarind sauce, fiery lime pepper sauce, cooling cucumber, zesty apple pickle, minty green chutney and sweet scotch bonnet mango jam. No need for cutlery, just gather round, pick up and enjoy finger-licking goodness. You’ll also find other Caribbean classics on the menu, like jerk chicken, roti and Island fish and chips.
